About Us
GameStorm first launched in 1998 to a relatively small crowd at Denney’s Convention Center. Years later, the not-for-profit annual gaming convention found its footing as a premier event for tabletop, board game, and wargame hobbyists. From LARPing to tips and tricks on miniature patining, GameStorm has it all for players looking to try something new or immerse themselves in classic games. GameStorm is hosted by the Oregon Science Fiction Conventions, an organization that sponsors science fiction events throughout Portland.
2022 COVID Policies
The team behind GameStorm has decided that all guests must present either proof of vaccination or a negative test ran 48-hours befor ethe event. Masks will also be required throughout the hotel, except when attendees are eating or drinking.
Featured Events
GameStorm is still compiling a full list of events, but attendees will have a selection of games to enjoy. The event will also host panel discussions with leaders of the historical wargaming and miniatures industry.

Featured Exhibitors
GameStorm 22 will provide vendors with a space to sell their goods throughout the weekend. A full list of exhibitors and vendors will be available closer to the event date.

Volunteer Information
The team behind GameStorm is looking for volunteers to assist with the nonprofit event. Volunteers are asked to work 12 hours and help with all aspects of the event.
