About Us
Since 1968, Gen Con has been serving North America as the go-to tabletop convention. The con was started by Gary Gygax, , co-founder of Dungeons & Dragons, in Lake Geneva, WS with a focus on historical wargaming and has become the heart of all tabletop gaming for players nationwide. Gen Con gathers exhibitors, vendors, Game Masters, and players for a weekend-worth of miniatures, wargaming, role-playing, card games, and so much more.
Featured Events
Gen Con Indy offers attendees a schedule full of events hosted by the most passionate players in the community. Over the course of the weekend, attendees will be able to enjoy the 2022 Gen Con Film Festival and the First Exposure Playtest Hall, where players get an inside look a the game development and design process. The weekend will also include access to an array of games spanning everything from historical scenarios to science fiction space battles.
Featured Exhibitors
Gen Con Indy features an exhibit hall filled with over 320 vendors, artists, authors, and more! Each table will be stocked with merchandise and products, including miniatures, board games, rulesets, one-of-a-kind art pieces, and reference guides.
The Exhibit Hall will be open:
Thursday – Saturday: 10 AM to 6 PM
Sunday: 10 AM to 4 PM
Volunteer Information
Gen Con Indy welcomes individuals 18 years of age and older to join its Event Team as a compensated team member. The Event Team Program is divided up into three levels that provide unique benefits to its members. Included in these benefits are a four-day badge refund, hotel accommodations, access to the Captain Lounge, airfare reimbursement, and compensation.
