About Us

Hotlead puts history, miniatures, and war at the forefront as Canada’s “finest” wargaming convention. The weekend event touts plenty of games to play and vendors to shop for a full, fun experience. Hotlead features a Bring & Buy and multiple game timeslots for players looking for some friendly competition.

2022 COVID Policies

Hotlead will follow all local, provincial, and federal guidelines regarding COVID safety. The event organizors recommend all attendees to be vaccinated before attending.

Featured Events

Along with the full schedule of games being run all weekend, Hotlead will also feature a Bring & Buy shopping experience and put players in line with the leading vendors of the industry. Attendees can also take on the role of Game Master or Dungeon Master to oversee one of the many games unfolding during Hotlead.

The vendor list currently includes shops like Dan the Dice Guy, Kura Creative, Sark’s Foundry, RAFM Miniatures, and Broken Road Gaming. More will be added closer to the event.

Volunteer Information

Hotlead is seeking Game Master and Dungeon Master volunteers to run games throughout the convention. Along with running games, these volunteers will also direct attendees to the necessary stations and tables.
