About Us
Midwest GameFest started as an annual, four-day convention that shined the spotlight on tabletop hobby gaming. After COVID, the event’s organizers, The Role-Players Guild of Kansas City, opted to split it into two events – a virtual and in-person convention. Both will continue to bring together the wargaming, board gaming, historical miniatures, role-playing, and cosplaying communities. Midwest GameFest connects developers, dealers, and designers with the players they build games for through seminars, an exhibition hall, and more.
The Role-Players Guild of Kansas City hosts several events throughout the year, including Guild Game Day, Pathfinder Society Game Day, Shauncon, Planet Comicon, Stealth Con, and so much more.
