About Us
HMGS-Midwest brings to Illinois a gathering of hobbyists, enthusiasts, and wargame experts with War Chest. The straightforward convention is all about the gaming, and the two-day event will feature a lineup of historical wargames spanning generations of combat. When not immersed in a tabletop battlefield, attendees can explore the treasure-filled vendor hall, where notable names bring their best products, from miniatures to rulesets.
Featured Events
The War Chest will host games throughout the weekend, including Rebels and Patriots scenarios based on the Skirmish at Wilkoff Farm, the Battle of Fort Washington, and two phases of Fighting Sails’ The Spanish Armada. Game Masters will oversee thrilling and hours-long skirmishes spanning different periods of war.

HMGS-Midwest will bring to The War Chest local trusted vendors to fill the 35-table vendor hall. Noble Knight Trade Group will also be present to provide attendees information on its buying and trade process.
